A new showcase on the east side.

Meryem Vani’s Bellydance Showcase, a celebration of bellydance and bellydancers. September 27th 7:30 – 9:30. More information from Meryem Vani at MeryemVani@aol.com or calling her (323) 819-1948. Tsunami Cafe at 4019 Sunset Boulevard (five blocks east of the Vista Theater in Los Feliz) in Silverlake. The phone number is (323) 661-7771. Parking in on the street, but this is a Thursday so that shouldn’t be a problem. The theatre is downstairs to the right as you step inside the cafe (which serves a variety of coffees, teas and pastries).
